SURFE2R Workstation 5
SURFE2R Workstation 5 is the most recent development of the SURFE2R family. It is a versatile instrument, which has been designed for assay development
in the pharmaceutical industry as well as for basic research. SURFE2R Workstation 5 has inherited key components from both, the
classic SURFE2R One and the SURFE2R Workstation 500.
A sample wheel offers 53 positions for buffer solutions. An IonJet unit is mounted to a Θ / z-drive to collect buffer solutions from vials and to
dispense them into a single sensor during the measurement. SURFE2R Workstation 5 also
houses a PC board, turning it into a space-saving stand-alone instrument, which only requires a TFT display, standard keyboard and mouse.
SURFE2R Workstation 500
Progress in automation led to the development of the SURFE2R Workstation 500 and of 96 sensors plates in the standard SBS format. The
instrument has been on the market for three years and has exhaustively proven its capabilities.
The mature WS Control software operates the peripheral robotics accroding to
workflows, which are easy to assemble on-screen.
